Once upon a time, there were two kids named Alex and Ben. They were best friends, and they did everything together. One day, Alex's birthday came around. Ben wanted to get him the best gift ever, but he didn't have much money.
Ben thought and thought, and finally he had an idea. He went to
the park and found a beautiful stone. He took the stone home and polished it
until it sparkled. Then, he wrote a poem on the back of the stone.
The poem said:
To my best friend,
I hope you have a happy birthday.
You are the best friend a person could ask for.
I am so lucky to have you in my life.
Alex was so touched by Ben's gift. He read the poem over and
over again. He knew that Ben had put a lot of thought into the gift, and he was
so grateful.
Alex and Ben continued to be best friends for many years. They
always remembered the day that Ben gave Alex the best gift ever.
Moral of the story: The best gifts are the ones that come from
the heart. When we give a gift with love, it is the most precious gift of all.
