Baccho Ki Kahani
पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार एक दिन सृष्टि के रचयिता भगवान् ब्रह्मा, और सृष्टि के रक्षक, भगवान् विष्णु के बीच में अपनी महानता को लेकर, आपस में मतभेद हुए! उनकी लड़ाई के बीच में अचानक एक शिवलिंग प्रकट हुआ, जो बादलों को चीरता हुआ, आकाश की और बढ़ने लगा!
ब्रह्मा और विष्णु, दोनों इस शिवलिंग को देखकर चकित रह गए! दोनों ने एक प्रतियोगिता करने की सोची! जिसमें उन्हें इस शिवलिंग की शुरुआत और अंत को ढूंढ़ना था! जो भी पहले ढूंढेगा, वही विजेता होगा! और वही सबसे महान साबित होगा!
ब्रह्मा आकाश की और बढ़ने लगे और विष्णु धरती को ओर! अचानक ब्रह्मा को लिंगम पर केतकी का फूल दिखाई दिया! और वो केतकी का फूल लिंगम से नीचे गिर गया! ब्रह्मा ने वो केतकी का फूल पकड़ लिया और विष्णु के पास आकर कहा की वो ये प्रतियोगिता जीत गए हैं! इसी दौरान लिंगम से शिव अपने असली रूप में प्रकट हो गए! उनको बहुत क्रोध आ रहा था! वे ब्रह्मा से उनके झूठ बोलने से नाराज थे! उन्होंने ब्रह्मा को श्राप दिया की उनकी पूजा अब से कोई नहीं करेगा! इस तरह उन्होंने ब्रह्मा और विष्णु को बता दिया की उन दोनों से बड़ी ताकत शिव के रूप में इस दुनिअय में मौजूद है! भगवान् शिव सृष्टि की रक्षा और विनाश दोनों करते हैं!
पहली बार शिव को लिंगम के रूप में देखा गया था! इसलिए इस दिन का माना जाता है और महाशिवरात्रि के पर्व के रूप में मनाया जाता है!
According to mythology, one day there were differences between Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, and Lord Vishnu, the creator of the universe, for his greatness! In the midst of their battle, suddenly a Shivalinga appeared, which saw the clouds ripple, and the sky began to rise!
Both Brahma and Vishnu were amazed to see this Shivling! Both of them thought of having a competition! In which he had to find the beginning and end of this Shivling. Whoever finds it first will be the winner! And that will prove to be the greatest!
Brahma started moving towards the sky and Vishnu moved towards the earth! Suddenly Brahma saw Ketki flower on the lingam! And that ketki flower fell down from the lingam! Brahma grabbed the flower of Ketaki and came to Vishnu and said that he has won this competition! Meanwhile, Shiva appeared in his true form from Lingam! He was very angry! They were angry with Brahma for lying to him! He cursed Brahma that no one will worship him from now on! In this way he told Brahma and Vishnu that greater strength than both of them exists in this world as Shiva! Lord Shiva both protects and destroys the universe!
Shiva was first seen as a lingam! Hence this day is considered and celebrated as the festival of Mahashivaratri!
